Child Advocacy Central
http://www.childadcentral.org
This is a really useful site. The Professionals tab will take you to a section for advocates, the Resources and Information tab offers a useful feature on the side bar -Understand Child Welfare Terms which provides a very comprehensive set of definitions, the Youth tab has some great things for the kids. The site is a WA site so the state law references will not be pertinent, but everything else seems to be quite useful.

Connect for Kids is a child advocacy organization with a great deal of info on the topic of child advocacy in general. It also has articles of interest to CASA volunteers. http://www.connectforkids.org/

Child Welfare League of America is a great source of up to the minute information on child legislation, best practice, statistics and research related to the Child Welfare System and child advocacy issues. They have a magazine that might of particular interest to volunteers, "Children’s Voice", it can be found at the publications link in the side bar. http://www.cwla.org/
